While it’s good to know consumer confidence is up and the economy is bouncing back, beware the bandwagon effect. Just because more Americans are racking up more credit card debt doesn’t mean you should be too. By all means, use your credit cards, but don’t forget the cardinal rule – only charge what you can afford to pay off every month.
